Whidbey Island – Beach House

So, our Aunty Maria has a beautiful beach house on Whidbey Island, Washington. We lucked out and got to stay there recently.

4 grown ups, 4 kids, 1 super fun weekend. Believe it or not, but a quick ferry ride over to Whidbey Island can get you out of the Seattle rain! 20 inches *less per year! We planned this getaway in a matter of minutes, super fun, and totally spontaneous.

The highlight of the trip for me? The fact that 2 Hawaiian men did ALL of the cooking! (this is typical, ladies, marry yourselves’ a Hawaiian and you won’t have to sweat in the kitchen again!)

We relaxed, ate alot, and went for long walks on the beach.  I love this place so much, the waves are safe for the kids not to get swept away.
