I just LOVE it when some of my “worlds” collide.
I have known this family, the Garcia’s for some years now. I met Amy, another autism mom when our 2 sons were in the same autism class. We immediately understood each other, and had the same drive and passion for advocating and speaking out for our special needs kids.
Insert the other “world” that I belong to, Photography.
I had met a lovely film-loving Photographer, Lisa over the summer. We got together for lunch, and I just “knew” she was like me and would enjoy doing complimentary photo shoots for special needs families – we happily decided to call upon each other if the need ever arose and we would shoot together and gift the families.
I got a call from another amazing autism mom friend of ours’ – who suggested I shoot the Garcia Family photos quickly – as Danny, was active Air Force and about to be deployed overseas.
I jumped, YES! I called Lisa, and together, we shot these beautiful photos.
I could go on and on as to why, but, just know that this absolutely FILLS my heart.
Danny, Amy, Jordan and Jett, I adore your pure love for one another.
