To have both my Mum and Dad visit me for a week, it’s a rare occurrence.
They live in Depoe Bay, Oregon…. which, for me, is an 8 hour drive (with 2 kids and a dog) haha…
So, having them over last week I made sure to take them to the Tacoma studio to shoot a few, candid 35mm film photos.
My Dad is 85, seeing him negotiate the staircase, it reminded me that time does NOT stand still.
Even more-so today as I write this, I encourage you all to dust off your cameras and shoot a roll of film on your loved ones.
This camera that I brought with me, was literally $20 on ebay. You can still get 35mm film at drug stores nationwide. Keep it simple is my motto.
All I need is a point and shoot camera and a roll of film. Boom, done.
So, I took them all to the studio, and it was the kids’ first time visiting there as well. Very special to me.
Jasmine is becoming an amazing photographer herself, so I let her shoot the photos of Keanu and I.
I am thrilled with these candid, zero-fuss film photos.
