Wow… Jasmine, my baby, turned 10 on Feb. 14th… *sniff sniff*
Nappy had an amazing idea/plan for her, he decided to let her ask 5 of her friends to spend the entire Valentine’s Day weekend with us at our Aunty’s beautiful beach home on Whidbey Island, Wa.
It all came together splendidly, I rounded up all the girls + Keanu + Jazzy dog and away we went, took the Ferry over to the beach house on Friday night.
I hesitated bringing my pro camera, I really just wanted to hand a camera to the girls and let them document the moments between them.
So, I got a “throwaway” Fuji 35mm film camera from Rite Aid, voila!
I shot most of these as the girls we having WAY too much fun to be bothered, but, Jas did shoot some, and they tickle me to see.
I was treated to a rose, bottle of wine and chocolates from Nappy, afterall, it was Valentine’s day too!
The weather, UNREAL for this time of year, sunny and near 60 all 3 days, I pinched myself!
With that said, making memories is what it’s ALL about.
