Hi everyone!
Well, life is just too busy, crazy and unpredictable for me to have kept my studio space downtown. So my last month there was April.
I had such a blessed experience, thank you to all who came and let me shoot your pictures there.
For my last “just for fun” project, I asked around for a model or two.
The idea?
To get an old slide projector and shine images onto the wall, place my models within the images and shoot some expired 35mm film.
I called upon my film shooting buddy Garrick.
Garrick had slides circa 1960s – and the projector, woo!
I got my fellow flight attendant pal Erik and his husband Nick to be my models, bingo !
I was so excited!
That day, I had no babysitter, so I brought Keanu and Jasmine with me.
Keanu loved just hanging in the studio, and was such a great boy.
Jasmine, who is budding as a photographer herself at *age 12*
grabbed my Minolta’s and shot these images.
I love them so much!
We had such a blast !
Garrick shot his VERY old 120 format and Polaroid cameras, can’t wait to see those images!
It was tricky planning in full sun/need for darkness to see the slides/exposing the film right/I forgot my meter…..
BUT I LOVE IT !
Thank you Erik, Nick, Garrick + Jasmine!
Film, forever !
FROM ERIK TO NICK:
“To my wonderful husband and partner in crime. Thank you for an amazing 11 years, Here’s to many more decades together.”
