HEY everyone !
I hope everyone is enjoying the fact that Spring is upon us !
I love looking around and seeing the flowers blooming and the longer days of sunlight .. yeah!
I had a whole month of Hawaii flying for February – lucky ME !
I toted my little Minolta Weathermatic (underwater) point and shoot camera in my suitcase with a roll of expired 35mm Kodak film – and it did NOT disappoint !
I was studying for my Flight Attendant Recurrent training, and was also pretty tired from the long days of working — but I managed to get right out and walk into Waikiki on one of those days, and — what a blast!
I change out of my uniform, grab my fanny pack and off I GO !
The best part of this; I have NO idea what I will see, and it’s always different each and every time.
I arrived at Waikiki Beach right at sunset hour, dropped my stuff in the sand and jumped into the warm ocean – it felt like Heaven.
I had a few frames left to shoot on the walk back to the Ala Moana Hotel, but, this little camera has a flash, so yep! Shoot away!
I absolutely LOVE these images – my fave; my friend Capt. Eric Neilson and his white Vans’ slip-ons – that made me giggle every time I saw them!
ALOOOOOOHA and why don’t you all…..just…..POINT AND SHOOT !
