ahh.. I had the honor of photographing lovely High School Senior, Penny Mae.
She is the niece of my friend from Alaska Airlines, whom I have known and been photographing for over 10 years !
We met at my studio space in downtown Tacoma.
We got so lucky that it was a clear crisp winter day !
Penny Mae, well, she took my breath away. Her eyes, her hair, and her creative energy is quite amazing.
I asked her Mom, Paige to share some thoughts with me about her lovely daughter.
These are her words;
“About Penny…..
She’s super creative, funny, smart, has her own style and has a kind heart.
She loves the arts – music, drawing, painting, acting and writing stories, doing special effects make-up on herself (and sometimes her little sister) and cosplay.
She’s an avid movie watcher – old, new and in-between.
She’s interested in the movie/film industry, acting, set design, writing, etc and she would like to pursue work in that field.
She has 2 pet bunnies, Roo and Ozzie and she loves them very much.
I can’t believe she’ll be 18 in JUNE!
I don’t even want to think of her leaving home, it is bitter-sweet!
