what is one of the best thrift store treasures that i ever scored?
the olympus stylus
it’s a
35mm film point and shoot
pocket camera
fits in the palm of your hand, that small
i keep it loaded with expired film and throw it in my purse, to bust it out here, there, everywhere !
i got to hang with with one of my most favorite humans a couple weeks ago, Jorge.
we went to the tacoma studio with the kids, one of Jas’ friends Kamille and Jazzy-dog < phew! >
we shot some candid 35mm film pics for fun
sigh, i love these images!
they are to me; honest, real, organic, imperfect, moody, in-the-moment-snapshots
which I ADORE !
i had some frames left on the roll when i went to my next work trip (Washington, D.C.)
i went for a little photo-walk in the lovely Alexandria neighborhood and of course noticed all the beautiful doors along the streets, a local landscaper saw me stopping to stare and shoot this little camera and joined me on his lunch break!
haha, he showed me his faves…
